Our operation is district run, not private, so that may have something to do with it. The driver who is upset about the sandles stuck up for her, saying 'that is who she is and how she expresses herself' Well, express yourself when you are off the clock, not when you are working, especially with kids. Someone said you could see part of her 'behind'. I wanted to tell the driver to get over it- but I kept my mouth shut as usual, best thing to do.Īnother driver wore extremly short short shorts on a charter trip. We are working for the company, they set the rules, not us. I also believe that the company has every right to enforce the dress code. Does anyone know why sandles aren't allowed? I believe they can be a safety hazard and they aren't very attractive. She said her feet get too hot and her sandles feel comfortable.

One driver feels as if she has every right to wear sandles. No sandles- your feet should be enclosed in a regular shoe/sneakerĪ few driver's have issues with this policy. Recently, the safety supervisor put a poster up which stated the proper dress code for all employees.
